Heritage Building Surveys Across Camden

Bluelime is supporting Greyline and Peabody with a programme of surveys, design work and planning applications across a number of historic residential buildings in Camden.

Many of the properties are more than a century old and feature distinctive architectural detailing, making accurate surveying particularly important when developing proposals for future works.

The Project

Our work includes surveying existing buildings, producing the information required to support design development, and assisting with planning applications across the wider programme.

Careful attention is required throughout to ensure that the character and historic details of each property are accurately recorded and considered as part of the design process.

Ongoing Work

Following the initial stages of the programme, Bluelime has already begun work on the next block, comprising more than 150 flats.

The project is a good example of how detailed surveying and digital information can support large-scale improvement programmes while respecting the architectural character of historic residential buildings.
